Would have been a good movie with H.R. Giger doing the design and Salvador Dali as the Emperor.
Funny thing is that Jodorowsky later did a comic-series called 'Meta-Barons' where he adapted certain elements of Dune, best example being the Shabda-Oud, who are very much alike the Bene Gesserit with similar goals. _________________ 'THE SPICE MUST FLOW!'

Wow, this could have been something.
I hope the producers and director try to do something arty and unique like thisG

At about 04:20, he mentions that Orson Welles was to play Baron Harkonnen.
I've only recently had an opportunity to really sit down and watch some Orson Welles films, and I wish I had done so sooner. He was a spectacular actor with an unparalleled level of gravitas. He would have made an excellent Baron. _________________ "The state that separates its scholars from its warriors will have its thinking done by cowards, and its fighting by fools."
