I couldn't see a open thread for this, so I'm starting a new one. Does anyone else have any Dune Tattoo's?

This is my third tattoo and as you can see from the picture it is just outlined, but I'm heading back in to start the shading and coloring next month. It wraps around behind my knee and across my shin so its hard to get in one photo.

Just in case its not obvious its Shai Hulud at the top and the fremen at the bottom reaching up Smile

I only got it done on Friday and I already have a lot of people stop and ask me what it is. I'm so proud to wear my Dune love on my leg, lol.

Thanks. I only just got it done on the weekend, but still have to go back for a few more sessions to color it in. I'm also considering getting the Baron on the other side.

Cool. Cool

Can't wait to see what it looks like all colored up and everything.

I have a couple tattoos that I have that represent two big aspects of my thinking.

I have for Bruce Lee, his Jeet kune Do symbol(yin and yang with chinese characters, which essentially translate to "using no way as way and having no limitation as limitation). Also I have a Star Trek IDIC(meaning infinite diversity in infinite combinations) symbol.

I wonder what I could get for Dune, to represent the wisdom of Frank Herbert's entire series. That is a tough question. Any ideas? Very Happy

Bumping this topic a bit.

Last month my Dune tattoo was finally completed. The tattoo artist seemed to be a very busy person so whilst it took only about 5 sessions averaging an hour or 3 each session, it took 4 months in total.

I'm quite pleased with the results though:

Hey all. Love the work you guys had done. I just got my first tattoo, below this last Thursday (3/7/13).

It's my interpretation of the Atreides crest. It says "Here I am; Here I remain" in classical Greek.
